If you fail to read any of the three sentences correctly during your interview,you do not fail your entire citizenship application.

Here is the law: ✅ Your civics test and background check results are saved and remain valid. ✅ USCIS will issue a Form N-14 and schedule a second appointment for you(usually within 60 to 90 days). ✅ At that second appointment, you will ONLY be retested on the specific sectionyou did not pass—in this case, just the reading portion!
